UPDATED SAM.gov ALERT
Entities registering in the System for Award Management (SAM) still must submit a notarized letter appointing their authorized Entity Administrator. However, as of June 11, 2018, the notarized letter review process has changed for entities applying only for federal assistance opportunities such as grants, loans, and other financial assistance programs. Read the updated Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) at https://www.gsa.gov/about-us/organization/federal-acquisition-service/office-of-systems-management/integrated-award-environment-iae/sam-update to learn more about the changes to the notarized letter process and other system improvements coming in June.
Applicants who have been unable to apply to an Office of Justice Programs solicitation due to delays in the notarized letter review process should notify us in accordance with the technical difficulties guidelines contained in the solicitation within 24 hours of the close of the solicitation. To be considered for a waiver to apply, a copy of the notarized letter provided to SAM.gov dated before the close date of the solicitation and any correspondence with SAM.gov or Grants.gov must be provided.
