This webinar will explain performance research and how it applies to corrections training; it is aimed at agencies, trainers, curriculum designers, learning and performance professionals, leaders, and others involved in the corrections training profession who work in juvenile justice and adult community corrections, jails, and prisons.
The webinar will also cover how to get the most out of the trainings that agencies design and deliver to staff.
Through a series of interactive activities, including polling and discussion, the NIC will explore how the ADDIE framework (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) is the fundamental building block for answering these questions.
The webinar will also provide an overview of NIC's white paper Training from A to E: Analysis to Evaluation and its application to corrections training.
During the webinar, participants will have the opportunity to engage in activities that apply learning and performance research to the training they analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate in their own organization.
Hosted by the National Institute of Corrections (NIC) Learning Center.
