This webinar will provide an overview of BJA's new Southwest Border (SWB) Rural Law Enforcement Assistance Program.

This program is a funding opportunity designed to assist small, rural, and tribal law enforcement agencies located in the Southwest border states (Arizona, California, New Mexico, or Texas). Through a streamlined application process, eligible small, rural, and tribal agencies may request up to $150,000 for resources and specialized equipment (public safety equipment, tactical equipment, computers and laptops, software and mobile applications, K-9 unit support, and more).

This webinar is open to all agencies located in the SWB states. Topics covered will include the purposes of the program, available funding and eligibility, submitting an application, the review process, and post-award requirements.

Also, for agencies requiring help in submitting an application, available assistance options will be discussed.
