On Friday, June 8 at 9:00 a.m. c.t. the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (Bureau) will convene a public forum in Topeka, Kansas, to discuss ways to prevent elder financial exploitation.
The "Fighting Elder Financial Exploitation in Your Community" event will feature remarks by Bureau Acting Director Mick Mulvaney and Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt, followed by a discussion with representatives from the Kansas Attorney General's Senior Consumer Protection Advisory Council.
