Event Dates

Justice Counts is currently collecting feedback about proposed Tier 2 Metrics, which will guide the future of policymaking through cutting-edge, easily accessible data for criminal justice agencies nationwide. These metrics empower criminal justice agencies to tell their stories and enable decision-makers to make informed, impactful decisions about public safety.

The Tier 2 Metrics cover almost every part of the criminal justice system, including law enforcement, courts, prosecution and defense offices, and corrections. Feedback about the metrics is due by 5 p.m. ET, on June 25, 2024. To support the public in providing feedback, Justice Counts is hosting four informational sessions for key constituencies.

This session is tailored for legislators and other elected or appointed officials who do not work in the criminal justice system but are interested in using better data in their policy decisions. However, anyone interested in learning more about Justice Counts and the public feedback opportunity is welcome to attend.
