Community Violence Intervention—Addressing Gangs: Essential Partnerships for Leading a Community-Based Response Webinar

This webinar will discuss steps for building a community-based comprehensive response to gang activity and prevention with a focus on engaging partners and establishing a steering committee to guide the process. This training is part of the National Gang Center's Community Violence Intervention—Addressing Gangs series. 

 As a result of this webinar, participants will be able to:   

• Identify the appropriate multidisciplinary partners to guide the process of developing and implementing a data-driven and comprehensive community-based response.
• Recognize strategies for engaging multidisciplinary partners and for overcoming challenges associated with building partnerships.
• Clarify the roles and responsibilities of key partners serving on the steering committee.
