OJJDP will host "Combating Digital Hate, Part II: The Dark Web" as part of OJJDP’s Preventing Youth Hate Crimes & Identity-Based Bullying Initiative webinar series.

During the webinar, intended for law enforcement professionals, presenters will:

  • Explain Tor, darknets, and dark markets to individuals who conduct criminal investigations involving hate and identity-based bias crimes.
  • Explore case studies and discuss specific investigative techniques involving hate and identity-based crimes.
  • Provide investigators, analysts, and other criminal justice professionals the foundation needed to understand these tools and communities—both how they are exploited by criminals and how investigators and analysts use them.

Note: This webinar is for law enforcement only. Individuals not associated with law enforcement will not be allowed to attend the web event. Please complete event registration in its entirety.

The webinar series is supported by OJJDP's National Training and Technical Assistance Center (NTTAC). To obtain handouts and documents for this event, contact the OJJDP TTA Help Desk at ojjdptta@usdoj.gov or by phone at 833–647–0513.
