Through the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research and Development to Support Community Supervision funding opportunity, the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) seeks to promote the successful reentry of offenders under community supervision. Additionally, NIJ encourages the development of AI solutions to aid community supervision agencies and personnel identify offenders at the highest risk of violating while under community supervision.
