The conference will convene an international audience of practitioners and researchers to explore some of today's most pressing issues and promising ideas in criminal justice.
Topics will include effective practices to reduce recidivism; prevention of violent crime with earlier interventions; new science on addiction and treatment and promising practices in responding to the opioid crisis; best practices to improve behavioral health responses in the justice system; tools and other support to reduce violent crime and foster mutual trust between law enforcement and community; restorative justice techniques; lessons learned from effective planning of community courts; and more.
