Proceedings at a congressional hearing on experience and reaction to trends regarding juvenile violence is provided.
Abstract
The purpose of this two-day hearing, held June 1 and 2, 1993 in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona, was to solicit information concerning juvenile violence as well as to raise the awareness of the problem of gangs and violence and use of firearms by juveniles. Accompanying the testimony presented are appendixes containing data on juvenile crime in Maricopa County, Arizona, a listing of reference materials regarding instructional aids for young children and interventions beginning during the preschool years, copies of magazine and newspaper articles relating to juvenile crime, and a list of the members of the Violence Reduction Coalition of Tucson.
