Abstract
The manual presents examples of ways in which youth are already helping work with a variety of problems and populations. It also outlines ways in which community service can be integrated into the organization structure of youth agencies and schools. Additional sections explain how to design, organize, operate, promote, and support youth service programs. A concluding section summarizes the main reasons to be involved with community service.
