Abstract
The manual describes services and procedures to obtain information concerning: (1) copies of birth certificates; (2) budgeting; (3) child abuse; (4) child support collection; (5) domestic violence; (6) driver's license or identification card; (7) arrest warrants; (8) drug or alcohol abuse; (9) obtaining a GED, education for homeless students; (10) food stamps or other types of public assistance; (11) help for victims of HIV/AIDS or a sexually transmitted disease; (12) getting a job; (13) help for kids in trouble; (14) help for persons with physical or mental disability; (15) help for pregnant women, family planning, medical care for kids; (16) help for runaway kids or kids starting to get in trouble; (17) starting a small business; (18) sex offender registration program; (19) help for rape victims; (20) help for crime victims; (21) public libraries; (22) community information centers; (23) community colleges; and (24) adult basic and secondary education programs.
