Abstract
The publication contains articles on at-risk youth, child safety, communication strategies based on mediation that help parents and teenagers communicate, community involvement in youth-oriented programs, crime prevention, curfews, educational programs, gang prevention, and juvenile justice alternatives (restitution, family courts, and victim-offender mediation). The publication also includes articles on a model program for young adult police commissioners, police-probation partnerships, police-school partnerships, teen courts, truancy, underage drinking, gun-related crimes, and youth development. Tables and photographs
