Abstract
A brief overview about behavioral cycles is presented along with completed assignments that help identify cycles. Sequences of behavior are described as many small links that are essential to the behavior. These links are perception, thought, feeling, and behavior. Deviant behaviors like child sexual abuse and rape do not just spontaneously happen without other behaviors leading up to them. In order to learn how to intervene effectively and stop these behaviors from occurring, the details of every part of the deviant cycle must be understood. When the steps taken are understood, intervention can be effective and the cycle can be stopped. Each chapter in this workbook ends with homework assignments designed for practice and better understanding of the material. Recommended reading list included.
