This directory lists several hundred organizations, services, and materials which are available to aid crime prevention efforts in Virginia.
Abstract
The directory also gives the addresses of the national groups and 25 State affiliates which are members of the National Crime Prevention Coalition. Police agencies' and sheriffs' resources for crime prevention are listed in terms of staff, training, displays, equipment, films, slides, and programs. Similar information is given for crime prevention services of colleges and universities. Addresses and contact persons are given for crime prevention organizations in Virginia. A list of audio-visual crime prevention resources describes films and videotapes available through three State and one private film library. A list of free crime prevention resources lists sources and titles of brochures, posters, displays, and media material which are available for little or no cost.
