THE BIBLIOGRAPHY WAS COMPILED BY THE NATIONAL CENTER ON INSTITUTIONS AND ALTERNATIVES, AN ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO DEVELOPING AND PROMOTING STRATEGIES AND ACTION TOWARD REDUCING THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE INVOLUNTARILY INSTITUTIONALIZED.
