Abstract
TYPICAL VICTIMS PROVOKING TO CRIME ARE THE SUPERMARKET MANAGER WHO DISPLAYS HIS WARES SO TEMPTINGLY, THE AUTO OWNER WHO DOESN'T EVEN LOCK HIS NEW CAR, AND THE WOMAN WHO WALKS ALONG THE STREET WITH ALL THE HOUSEKEEPING MONEY FOR THE MONTH IN HER PURSE. STATISTICS ARE PROVIDED SHOWING THE RATES OF ROBBERY AND BURGLARY CRIMES COMMITTED AGAINST VICTIMS IN VARIOUS INCOME BRACKETS IN THE U.S. THOSE WITH AN INCOME OF THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS OR LESS WERE VICTIMIZED MOST FREQUENTLY. --IN DUTCH
