This is a listing of the materials archived by the U.S. Justice Department's Office for Victims of Crime in its promotion of National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW), April 21-27, 1996.
Abstract

The archive listing includes a small depiction of the front cover of the issued NCVRW Resource Guide. The front cover contains an illustrative drawing and statement of the 1996 NCVRW theme: "Victim Justice: A New Day Dawns." The archived material contains the contents of the Resource Guide, which includes an introductory letter from the Director of the OVC regarding the rationale and goals for the 1996 NCVRW. Other listings for the archived material include field-initiated ideas for public awareness and outreach and samples of the following: a planning committee letter, a proclamation, public service announcements, a press release, an opinion/editorial column, a speech, and a sermon.
