Abstract
ALSO CONSIDERED ARE THE CHARACTERISTICS AND MOTIVES OF SCHOOL VANDALS, THE EFFECT OF RISING VANDALISM LOSSES ON SCHOOL INSURANCE, AND THE DIFFICULTY OF FIRE PREVENTION. THE AUTHOR CONCLUDES THAT WHILE THERE IS NO OBVIOUS 'SOLUTION' TO SCHOOL VANDALISM, DESIGN INNOVATION AND STUDENT PARTICIPATION PROGRAMS SHOW THE MOST PROMISE. A THREE-PAGE BIBLIOGRAPHY IS INCLUDED.
