PRESENTED IN THIS REPORT ARE THE FINDINGS, CONCLUSIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS ARRIVED AT THROUGH AN ASSESSMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY'S CAMPUS SECURITY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM.
Abstract
THE FIRST SECTION DISCUSSES THE HISTORY OF THE INTERN PROGRAM AS WELL AS ITS INTERNAL ADMINISTRATIVE DEVELOPMENT, INCLUDING FUNDING INFORMATION. THE NEXT SECTION DEALS WITH THE DATA COLLECTED AND COMPILED IN RELATION TO THE PROGRAM'S STATED GOALS AND ANTICIPATED IMPACTS. DATA IS REPORTED FROM PERSONAL INTERVIEWS WITH THE INTERNS, QUESTIONNAIRES DISTRIBUTED TO CAMPUS SECURITY OFFICERS, AND INFORMATION MAINTAINED BY CAMPUS SECURITY. THE FINAL SECTION SUMMARIZES THE CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS MADE CONCERNING PROGRAM MODIFICATIONS. THE APPENDIX CONTAINS COPIES OF THE JOB DESCRIPTIONS FOR THE INTERNS AND THEIR SUPERVISOR.
