THIS REPORT DESCRIBES THE RESEARCH ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE CENTER DURING FISCAL YEAR 75-76 WITH RESPECT TO BOTH INTERNALLY FUNDED ACTIVITIES AND EXTERNALLY SUPPORTED PROJECTS.
Abstract
IT ALSO DESCRIBES SOME OF THE MORE IMPORTANT COLLATERAL ACTIVITIES THAT COMPRISE THE RESEARCH ENVIRONMENT. THE GENERAL RESEARCH ORIENTATION OF THE CENTER IS EMPIRICAL, BOTH QUALITATIVELY AND QUANTITATIVELY. THE PREDOMINANT EMPHASES ARE ON TWO TYPES OF RESEARCH: THE 'EXPERIMENTAL-EVALUATIONAL-PERFORMANCE' KIND OF RESEARCH THAT IS DESIGNED TO TEST HYPOTHESES WITH DATA; AND THE 'DESCRIPTIVE-PROCESS-HISTORICAL' KIND OF RESEARCH THAT IS DESIGNED TO DETERMINE THE STRUCTURE AND FUNCTIONS OF SOME ORGANIZED ACTIVITY WITH DATA. APPENDED MATERIALS INCLUDE DATA ON THE NUMBER OF PERSONS EMPLOYED ON CENTER PROJECTS TO DATE AND CUMULATIVE LISTINGS OF COMPLETED PROJECTS AND PUBLICATIONS.
