Abstract
THE ARTICLE BEGINS WITH A DESCRIPTION OF YOUTH-ORIENTED INSTITUTIONS, COURTS, AND PROBATION PROGRAMS AS WELL AS MEANS FOR EVALUATING THESE METHODS OF TREATMENT. THERE THEN FOLLOWS SOME BRIEF RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE TRAINING OF PERSONNEL SUCH AS POLICE, COURT JUDGES, AND PROBATIONAL OFFICERS WHO WILL BE HANDLING JUVENILES.
