A meeting held on March 28, 1995, focused on traffic patterns, traffic laws, and traffic law enforcement in Budapest, Hungary, and gathered the opinions of five experts.
Abstract
The year 1993 was declared the traffic security year by the head of the national police. Road control increased during the year, and traffic accidents decreased. However, the number of police staff and the material and technical conditions do not enable traffic control to be maintained with similar intensity during future years. The meeting focused on the traffic safety situation in Budapest in 1994, the nature of traffic offenses, and sanctions for violations. Participants included police officials, the public prosecutor, and the lead traffic judge. Photographs
