Abstract
Disputants can expect a trial by judge, not jury, and can have an attorney at their own expense. Community service work is acceptable as a sentence in lieu of a fine. Disputants should be well-prepared before their court date arrives. Obtaining witnesses, bringing photographs, and reviewing vehicle code citations are some of the ingredients of good case preparation.
