The total mean time served, including time in custody prior to CDC, was 21.4 months for males and 17.1 months for females. Mean and median times served in CDC institutions were 16.7 and 12.1 months, respectively. Mean times served in CDC institutions were 17 months for males and 12.7 months for females. The mean time in custody prior to CDC was 4.4 months for both males and females. The total mean time served for violent offenses was 32.6 months, with males serving 6.7 months longer than females (32.9 months for males and 26.2 months for females). Total mean times served for property offenses, drug offenses, and all other offenses were 18.2, 18.7, and 14.5 months, respectively.
