Abstract
RESULTS OF HALL'S 1969-1970 STUDY OF MINORITY GROUP ENROLLMENT ARE PROVIDED FOR COMPARISON PURPOSES. BREAKDOWNS FOR FIRST, SECOND, THIRD, AND FOURTH YEAR ENROLLMENTS AND TOTAL ENROLLMENTS ARE PRESENTED FOR THE FOLLOWING MINORITY GROUPS: BLACK AMERICANS, MEXICAN-AMERICANS, PUERTO RICANS, AMERICAN INDIANS, ASIAN AMERICANS, AND OTHERS. DURING 1971-1972, MINORITY ENROLLMENTS FOR THE FIRST THROUGH FOURTH YEARS WERE 2,567, 1,707, 1,099, AND 80 RESPECTIVELY FOR A TOTAL MINORITY GROUP ENROLLMENT OF 5,568. THIS INDICATES AN INCREASE OVER 1969-1970 MINORITY ENROLLMENTS TOTALING 2,933. THE 1971-1972 DATA INCLUDED STATISTICS FOR 11 SCHOOLS NOT REPORTING IN 1969-1970; TOTAL MINORITY GROUP ENROLLMENT FOR THESE SCHOOLS WAS 341. ADDITIONAL TABLES PROVIDED INCLUDE FULL-TIME MINORITY LAW SCHOOL ENROLLEES BY RACE/ETHNICITY AND CLASS (FIRST THROUGH FOURTH), NUMBER OF MINORITY STUDENTS ENROLLED IN EACH SCHOOL (NUMBER OF SCHOOLS), NUMBER OF SCHOOLS WITH PERCENTAGE MINORITY ENROLLMENTS PER SCHOOL BETWEEN 0-14 PERCENT AND 15 OR MORE PERCENT, NUMBER OF MINORITY STUDENTS ENROLLED IN EACH LAW SCHOOL BY GEOGRAPHICAL REGION, AND COMPARISON OF MINORITY GROUP ENROLLMENT IN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS.
