DISCUSSION OF A TEN-WEEK PROGRAM WHICH PLACED THIRTEEN PROBATION STUDENTS FROM BRISTOL (ENGLAND) UNIVERSITY IN ELEVEN DIFFERENT PRISONS AS PART OF THEIR REGULAR TWO YEAR TRAINING.
Abstract
THIS PROGRAM WAS DESIGNED TO GIVE STUDENTS PRACTICAL WORK EXPERIENCE, SINCE ONE OF TEN ENGLISH PROBATION OFFICERS WORK IN THE PRISON SETTING IN CONNECTION WITH PRE-RELEASE PROGRAMS AND PRE-PAROLE ASSESSMENT.
