This program announcement provides information for applying for Fiscal 1996 grants for partial support to State governments for the establishment and operation of State Statistical Analysis Centers (SACs) to collect, analyze, and disseminate statistics on crime and justice to Federal, State and local levels of government, and to share state-level information nationally. The state-designated SAC is eligible to receive annually a cooperative agreement of up to $50,000 to carry out tasks that meet the goals and objectives of the SAC program.
