CITATIONS HAVE BEEN GATHERED ON SUCH AREAS AS DUE PROCESS CHALLENGES, THE DIVISION OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR BAR ADMISSIONS, DELETERIOUS EFFECTS OF CURRENT ADMISSION PRACTICES ON LEGAL EDUCATION, AND DISPARITIES BETWEEN ADMISSIONS METHODS AND THE REALITIES OF LAW PRACTICE. A SECTION ON FEDERAL BAR ADMISSIONS HAS BEEN INCLUDED. A SUMMARY IS ALSO PROVIDED OF THE ACTIVITIES OF A STUDY ON LAWYER COMPETENCY. THE BIBLIOGRAPHY IS GENERALLY LIMITED TO PUBLICATIONS FROM 1970 TO 1979, WITH EMPHASIS ON RECENT MATERIALS. ITEMS ARE ANNOTATED IF THEIR SIGNIFICANCE IS NOT APPARENT FROM THEIR TITLES.
