A COMPREHENSIVE LISTING OF STANDARDS INTENDED AS A PROGRAM FOR TRAFFIC COURT REFORM, WITH A BRIEF COMMENTARY FOLLOWING EACH STANDARD.
Abstract
COVERED IN THIS REPORT ARE STANDARDS ON TRAFFIC REGULATIONS, TRAFFIC ADJUDICATION, PLEAS AND HEARINGS, CORRECTIVE SANCTIONS, DETENTION OR INCARCERATION FOR NON-HAZARDOUS OFFENSES, AND ADMINISTRATION. UPON ADOPTION BY THE AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION'S HOUSE OF DELEGATES, THESE STANDARDS WOULD REPLACE THE EARLIER 'NATIONAL STANDARDS FOR IMPROVING THE ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE IN TRAFFIC COURTS'.
