Abstract
The introductory section explains the Spanish alphabet, emphasizing the sounds made by the consonants, vowels, and four additional Spanish letter combinations (CH, LL, N, RR). The sections of vocabulary contained here include: polite phrases; commands; language needed in high-risk situations; language needed in low-risk situations; high-risk vehicle stops; medical emergencies; numbers, colors, the calendar, and directions; and personal questions and the Miranda warning.
