Abstract
THE COURT CLINIC STUDIES INDIVIDUALS WITHIN A TOTAL SOCIAL FRAMEWORK. EACH PATIENT REPRESENTS A COMPLEX OF SOCIAL AND LEGAL PSYCHIATRIC ISSUES. IT IS THE STATED GOAL OF THE CLINIC TEAM TO FUNCTION AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF A BROAD SOCIOLOGICAL PROGRAM PROVIDING FOR - ONE, PSYCHODYNAMIC STUDIES OF ALL SERIOUS OFFENDERS, TWO, TREATMENT PROCEDURES COORDINATED WITH COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH FACILITIES, AND THREE, RESEARCH INTO THE INDIVIDUAL AND SOCIAL FACTORS PRODUCING DEVIANT BEHAVIOR.
