Abstract
IN THIS WAY SOCIAL DEFENCE CAN BE EXAMINED WITH A VIEW TOWARD THE ENTIRE PROCESS OF SOCIAL MECHANICS AS OPPOSED TO MERELY CENTERING ON THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF CRIME AND DELINQUENCY. THIS ARTICLE ANALYZES GROUP EXCLUSION AS CREATING POTENTIALLY OR ACTIVELY ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR, AND DISCUSSES THE SOCIAL DEFENCE PROBLEMS EVIDENT IN MANY AFRICAN NATIONS IN LIGHT OF THE SOCIAL EXCLUSION ANALYSIS.
