DISCUSSION OF A SERIES OF EXPERIMENTS IN WHICH SPECIMENS OF HAIR AND FUR (INCLUDING HUMAN HAIR) WERE SUBJECTED TO DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS IN ORDER TO STUDY THE TYPE AND RATE OF DETERIORATION.
Abstract
IT WAS FOUND THAT SAPOPHYTES AND DECAYING BACTERIA ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CHANGES WHICH OCCURRED IN THE HAIR AND FUR SAMPLES, ESPECIALLY IN THE ROOTS. THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THESE CHANGES AND THE TIME OF DEATH ARE DISCUSSED. --IN FRENCH
