The guidelines have been used in industrial, mercantile, high-rise, public housing, medical, and other institutions. The volume explains how to survey the tactical requirements of the security mission and, within 72 hours, to implement the measures required to fulfill that mission. A general philosophy is also presented to guide security officers in their professional development. Basic subjects such as first-aid procedures and specific techniques such as patrol and evidence protection are also addressed.
