Abstract
INVESTIGATION AND PROSECUTION OF WHITE COLLAR CRIME MUST BECOME A MAJOR POLICY ASPECT OF THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE, ACCORDING TO THIS ASSISTANCE REPORT. CLOSE COOPERATION BETWEEN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE SHOULD BE ESTABLISHED. A PUBLIC INFORMATION AND EDUCATION PROGRAM CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE OBJECTIVE OF THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE IN COMBATING CRIME. THE REPORT OUTLINES STAFF ASSIGNMENTS FOR THE PROGRAM THAT INCLUDE ADMINISTRATORS, INVESTIGATORS, LEGAL INTERNS, VOLUNTEERS, AND CLERICAL AND SUPPORT STAFF.
