REPORT DESCRIBES THE OPERATION OF A CITIZEN CRIME AWARENESS AND ABATEMENT PROGRAM.
Abstract
THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO OPPOSE OR COUNTERACT CRIMES AGAINST PERSONS OR PROPERTY. IT IS ALSO PART OF THE TOTAL EFFORT TO REDUCE CRIME. THERE ARE EIGHT STEPS IN THE ORGANIZATION OF THE PROGRAM. THESE INCLUDE UNDERSTANDING THE PROGRAM OBJECTIVE, IDENTIFICATION OF RESOURCE PERSONS AND MATERIALS, ORIENTATION AND EDUCATION OF ORGANIZATION MEMBERS, AND DETERMINATION OF PRIORITIES.
