DISCUSSION OF INTEGRAL QUESTIONS TO BE ASKED OF PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYEES AND COMMON SUBTERFUGES USED TO MISLEAD PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYERS.
Abstract
MISTAKES IN HIRING CAN OFTEN ALL TOO EASILY BE TRACED TO A TOO HASTY REVIEW OF THE APPLICATION AND ITS PERSONAL HISTORY INFORMATION, OR TO HAVING SUCH REVIEWS DONE BY DISINTERESTED, ILL-TRAINED PEOPLE. A GOOD POLICY IS TO HAVE EVERY APPLICATION REVIEWED BY SOME RESPONSIBLE, EXPERIENCED PERSON WHO MUST PERSONALLY 'OKAY' THE APPLICATION IN WRITING. HE MUST NOT DO THAT UNTIL HE IS SATISFIED WITH EVERY PART OF IT. ANY QUESTIONS MUST BE DEALT WITH PRIOR TO HIRING. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT)
