Abstract
THE RESULTS OF THIS EVALUATION SHOW THAT THE EXPECTATION WAS REALIZED DURING THE FIRST SEVEN MONTHS OF THE REGIONAL LABORATORY'S OPERATION, PARTICULARLY WITH RESPECT TO ITS UTILIZATION BY THE KANSAS CITY (MO) POLICE DEPARTMENT. THUS FAR, THE REGIONAL LABORATORY HAS CONDUCTED EXTENSIVE TRAINING IN CRIME SCENE SEARCH; ITS UTILIZATION BY POLICE IS RELATIVELY HIGH, AND THE SUPPORT IT IS RENDERING HAS APPARENTLY SATISFIED PRACTICALLY ALL POLICE DEMANDS, QUESTIONED DOCUMENTS BEING THE ONLY NOTABLE EXCEPTION.(AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)...TWH
