Abstract
A LIST OF DEFINITIONS IS GIVEN FOR BRAIN DAMAGE DISORDERS WITH NO APPARENT PHYSICAL CAUSES. WHILE NO ONE CAN PREDICT HOW TO TELL IF A PERSON IS MENTALLY DERANGED, GUIDELINES ARE GIVEN TO HELP RECOGNIZE THE MENTALLY ILL OR RETARDED, PERSONS WITH PSYCHOSES AND PERSONALITY DISORDERS, SEXUAL PSYCHOPATHS, AND THOSE ADDICTED TO DRUGS AND ALCOHOL. THE NECESSITY TO HANDLE THESE PERSONS MAY COME THROUGH PATROL DUTIES, ARREST, OR IN RESPONSE TO AN EMERGENCY. SYMPTOMS TO LOOK FOR AND METHODS OF HANDLING ARE GIVEN. DESCRIPTIONS AND HANDLING METHODS OF PERSONS WITH DISORDERS SUCH AS EPILEPSY, DIABETES, AND AMNESIA ARE COVERED ALSO.
