This quarterly escape report for California correctional institutions from January 1992 through March 1993 presents data on escape during each quarter of the period by institution and male escapees by institutional housing level.
Abstract
The escape totals for men in institutions for the four quarters of 1992 were nine, 6, 5, and 3. Six men escaped in the first quarter of 1993. The escape totals for women in institutions for the quarter of 1992 were zero, zero, zero, and two. No women escaped in the first quarter of 1993. The quarterly totals for male escapes from camps in 1992 were 17, 15, 12, and 9. Six men escaped from camps in the first quarter of 1993. During the five quarters covered in the tables, only one women escaped from a camp. From April through June 1993, escapes by housing level were 12 for level I, 0 for level II, 2 for level III, and 0 for level IV.
