Drug and alcohol abuse were evaluated in a multiethnic sample of 48 delinquent females through self-report ratings.
Abstract
A psychodiagnostic assessment of each subject yielded four personality patterns: the borderline, the antisocial, the neurotic, and the socialized delinquent. Patterns of substance abuse were significantly affected by ethnicity and personality type, with whites and antisocial personalities having the highest usage rates. (Publisher abstract)
