Abstract
FOLLOWING A DISCUSSION OF SOCIAL PATHOLOGY AND CRIME, COMMENTS ARE MADE ON THE FORMULA OF CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR CITING THE MULTIPLICITY OF CAUSATIVE FACTORS THAT GO INTO THE MAKING OF CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR. THE AUTHOR THEN DISCUSSES FAMILY TENSION, JUVENILE DELINQUENCY, AND PSYCHOSOMATIC DISORDERS AND CRIME. COMMENTS ARE MADE ON THE CLASSIFICATION OF CRIMINALS WITH DISCUSSION OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF OFFENDERS, SUCH AS THE EMOTIONALLY DISTURBED OFFENDER, THE ACUTE AND THE CHRONIC OFFENDER, THE SEX OFFENDER, AND THE MURDERER. OTHER TOPICS DISCUSSED INCLUDE PSYCHIATRIC-PSYCHOLOGICAL EXAMINATION OF THE OFFENDER, CRIMINAL LAW AND PSYCHIATRY, REBUILDING AND REHABILITATING THE OFFENDER, AND THE PREVENTION OF CRIME.
