Abstract
Victim-witness services can be categorized as information services, logistic services (witness waiting area, property return, protection from defendant intimidation and harassment, compensation, restitution, and child care), and service referral. A record of services for each victim-witness is necessary to document service delivery and maintain the data essential for program evaluation, resource allocation, and budget development. 20 footnotes and appended forms as well as supplementary material.
