INSTEAD OF TRYING TO 'REHABILITATE' A BLACK PROBATIONER INTO A WHITE MOLD, THE CASEWORKER SHOULD POINT OUT IMMOVABLE REALITY FACTORS AND START WITH MINIMAL GOALS.
Abstract
THE CASEWORKER SHOULD NOT TRY TO PASS OVER AND IGNORE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN BLACK AND WHITE, BUT SHOULD RECOGNIZE AND TAILOR HIS METHODS TO THE TRAITS OF BLACK CULTURE SUCH AS THE BLACK RAGE SYNDROME, THE ABSOLUTE ALIENATION FROM WHITE VALUES AND INSTITUTIONS, AND THE BLACKS' GROUP SOLIDARITY.
