This is a guide to understanding, caring for and counseling HIV/AIDS-infected inmates.
Abstract
The guide can be used to help inmate caregivers, volunteers and even HIV/AIDS-infected inmates themselves understand the diseases in simple terms. It provides information on basic definitions, how best to help inmates understand their disease, cope with the realities of it and care for those dying of AIDS.
