Abstract
FOLLOWING A GENERAL OUTLINE OF ROBBERY IN OAKLAND, THE AUTHOR DELINEATES THE GEOGRAPHIC DISTRIBUTION OF COMMERCIAL AND INDIVIDUAL ROBBERIES. THE DOCUMENT CONCLUDES WITH A REVIEW OF SIMILAR RESEARCH DONE PREVIOUSLY AND A DISCUSSION OF SOME PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED IN SPATIAL ANALYSIS. THE TEXT IS ILLUSTRATED WITH THE USE OF NUMEROUS TABLES, CHARTS, AND MAPS.
