Abstract
GENERAL POPULATION SURVEYS WERE CONDUCTED IN 1974 TO ESTIMATE THE INCIDENCE AND PREVALENCE OF THE USE AND ABUSE OF DRUGS AND ALCOHOL AMONG DIFFERENT POPULATIONS IN THE STATE, ASSESS ASSOCIATED ATTITUDES AND PROBLEMS, AND ANALYZE THE NATURE AND EXTENT OF SUBCULTURAL DRUG USE.
