Abstract
PROGRAM POSSIBILITIES INCLUDE BASIC EDUCATION, SECONDARY PROGRAMS, SOCIAL EDUCATION AND AUXILIARY SUPPORTIVE PROGRAMS, VOCATIONAL AND INDUSTRIAL EDUCATION, AND ADVANCED EDUCATION. OTHER AREAS OF CONCERN ARE INCENTIVES, INMATE TUTORS AND VOLUNTEERS, DIFFERENTIAL INSTRUCTIONAL METHODS AND MATERIALS, AND COMMUNITY RESOURCES. ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS PERTAIN TO PHYSICAL ARRANGEMENTS OF LEARNING CENTERS, INMATE-STUDENT INVOLVEMENT, CONTRACTING OUT FOR SERVICES, AND STUDY RELEASE.
