Abstract
THE MANUAL FOR THIS ALTERNATE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM FOR PROBATIONED OR PAROLED OFFENDERS WAS INTENDED TO GUIDE PROGRAM OPERATION AND INSURE CLIENT'S RIGHTS. TOPICS COVERED IN THE MANUAL INCLUDE REFERRAL AND ADMISSION PROCESSES, ADMISSION CRITERIA, METHODS FOR EVALUATING PROGRAM MEMBERS, AND PROCEDURES OF THE PROGRAM. AMONG THESE PROCEDURES ARE USE OF A CONTRACT, A STATUS SYSTEM, AND PROGRESS REVIEWS OF CLIENTS. GENERAL INFORMATION ON SUCH TOPICS AS HOUSE MEETINGS, VOLUNTEERS, FAMILY CONTACTS, AND MEDICAL CARE IS ALSO PROVIDED. FINALLY, PROCEDURES FOR LEAVING THE PROGRAM ARE REVIEWED.
